Committee

Rachel Busby Chairman

Rachel is a new member to the committee joining in July this year as Chairman. She is committed to gaining the best for Brambles and the children attending, one of whom is her son. She has nearly completed her degree in Outdoor Adventure Management and is also undertaking her NVQ Level 2 in childcare in order to assist Brambles. She is keen on all outdoor activities and has qualifications in both sailing and kayaking.

Rachel believes that outdoor education helps children gain a practical understanding of the world around them, whilst building self-confidence, testing their abilities, leading them to take managed risks and develop a sense of responsibility and tolerance towards places and people. This is one of the many reasons why Rachel is so passionate about Brambles.
